• genocides including of Uyghurs and Tibetans in Chinese controlled/occupied territory , continued repression in Uganda , Tigray , CAR , Nigeria , AfghanTalibanistan , violence in ,   lies from Israel on social media, Arab Israelis and street fights in Israel, increasingly out-of-step US President Biden has spoken to the Palestinian President,
  
  
• jailed for stealing an ice cream ... , the general (endemic!) systemic bigotry of police is coming back to bite them with another ban from a Price march, Chileans have elected people to rewrite the constitution written by a past dictator, a police stuff up or set up has resulted in two men being freed and paid nearly A$100 million compensation, the ever ongoing fight for cybersecurity and privacy, a critique of the causes of the current conflict (verging on open war) shows Israel - validly - in a poor light, a devastating court decision shows the need for better protection of at-risk areas and flora and fauna populations/species, thousands around the world have been marching in support of Palestine, concerns about errors in at least one of the independent NDIA assessments, a tool to help police make better decisions about domestic violence risks,
  
  pandemic (nobody is safe until everyone is safe) in India & Australia (use of a deregistered lab to do COVID tests) & Brazil ,  
  
  vaccine development - including for variants - security and rollout including in ,  
  
  cyclone off India's west coast, Ebola in Guinea/West Africa, bushfire risk and bushfires in ,  
  
  
• Artemis, Baba Yaga, Pachamama and Cernunnos,
  help us connect to the wild places
  - show us all the beauty of all the life there,
  human, animal, plant or mineral,
  help all who touch these places,
  to truly know and care for them,
  for their own innate worth. 
  
  Brigid, Maeve and Aset,
  inspire and help all those who care for the bush or fight bushfires,
  let them fulfil their duties with passion and inspiration;
  and inspire and heal those tempted to do harm
  to such responsibility and caring
  that they can NOT commit such sacrilege,
  but may Ma’at bring swiftly to justice all who do make such sacrilege.
  
  Nu Kua, bringer of order to chaos,
  bring your ordered way to the wild places;
  let the rains fall and the winds blow when and where they are needed;
  Durga, protector against demons,
  set boundaries on any fires which may occur,
  and protect the wild places from the demon “bushfire”;
  Cerridwen, transform all harm and damage done into growth: death into rebirth.
  
  Gyhldeptis,
  we call on you to help synthesise all these threads,
  love, responsibility, inspiration, justice;
  ordered rain and wind, protective boundaries, transformation;
  help these many ways become one great whole,
  for the good of all the wild places, and all the wild life.
  throughout this coming bushfire season and beyond.
