  repression in Hong Kong ,  
  repression in Thailand ,  
  the violent repression in Tigray and of Tigrayans ,
  the attempted insurrection / coup by domestic terrorists in the USA and consequences,  
  Kashmir's continuing experience of repression ,  
  the decade long disaster in Syria .
  
  
  
• genocides including of Uyghurs and Tibetans in Chinese controlled/occupied territory , continued repression in Uganda , Tigray , CAR , Nigeria , Northern Ireland , violence in Papua ,   the violence has spread to the West Bank and may spread elsewhere in West Asia, mediation talks between Israel and Palestine are continuing, Israel's attacks have included  media offices, 40% of Palestinians killed are women and children, in what seems akin to a re-run of Da'esh's early tactics, activists in Iraq are being assassinated - by militias,
  
  
• inappropriate behaviour (consensual sex in a Parliament office) of an MP in my home state has been referred to the Speaker for investigation, "China has become the third nation to land on Mars and the second to deploy a rover", as the "Australian Retailers Association urges businesses not to take the law into their own hands" a solicitor warns of the risks of legal action for shaming ALLEGED offenders on social media and of the dangers of identifying young people - who are protected by courts for good reasons, a timely reminder that it is not always safe for TGD people to nominate pronouns on social media, repression in Algeria Belarus and Venezuela, the unity of opposition against the coup is showing signs of a movement to lead to a true (federal) democracy in Burma, Burma's military have been shelling civilians again, Burma's banking system is collapsing, the CCP is now grabbing the money of those it has arrested under it's anti-democracy repression, more suppression of freedom in Zimbabwe, a Cuban dissident has been hospitalised after a hunger strike, steps towards ending the political crisis in Georgia, Thailand is again considering an act of refoulement against refugees from Burma, growing concerns about upcoming elections in Nicaragua,
  
  pandemic (nobody is safe until everyone is safe) in India (irresponsible promotion of quackery by officials ) & Thailand ,   rather than a spate of suicides mental health in Australia has improved under lockdown (perhaps not having to go into the office?),
  
  vaccine development - including for variants - security and rollout including in ,  
  
  floods in Brazil, tornadoes in China, Ebola in Guinea/West Africa, bushfire risk and bushfires in ,  
  
  
• Artemis, Baba Yaga, Pachamama and Cernunnos,
  help us connect to the wild places
  - show us all the beauty of all the life there,
  human, animal, plant or mineral,
  help all who touch these places,
  to truly know and care for them,
  for their own innate worth. 
  
  Brigid, Maeve and Aset,
  inspire and help all those who care for the bush or fight bushfires,
  let them fulfil their duties with passion and inspiration;
  and inspire and heal those tempted to do harm
  to such responsibility and caring
  that they can NOT commit such sacrilege,
  but may Ma’at bring swiftly to justice all who do make such sacrilege.
  
  Nu Kua, bringer of order to chaos,
  bring your ordered way to the wild places;
  let the rains fall and the winds blow when and where they are needed;
  Durga, protector against demons,
  set boundaries on any fires which may occur,
  and protect the wild places from the demon “bushfire”;
  Cerridwen, transform all harm and damage done into growth: death into rebirth.
  
  Gyhldeptis,
  we call on you to help synthesise all these threads,
  love, responsibility, inspiration, justice;
  ordered rain and wind, protective boundaries, transformation;
  help these many ways become one great whole,
  for the good of all the wild places, and all the wild life.
  throughout this coming bushfire season and beyond.
