• genocides including of Uyghurs and Tibetans in Chinese controlled/occupied territory , continued repression in Uganda , Tigray , CAR , Nigeria , Northern Ireland , violence in Jerusalem (including missile attacks from Gaza and Israeli airstrikes that killed 20 children) in response to Israeli provocation & USA (another mass murder by gun) & Nigeria & Burkina Faso ,  
  
  
• YEARS after he attacked women whose complaints of sexual harassment were finally - VERY belatedly - found to be true two months ago a controversial political figure has claimed he has now reflected & is now aware & is sorry etc, a Tibetan protestor in France, micro-plastics could be in rice, an anti-corruption activist has been killed and a journalist critically injured in Iraq, police violence against anti-coup protestors in Chad, suppression of dissent in Algeria, there is a major risk that other resistant nations will experience the same disaster as India, moves towards an appointed not elected parliament as part of a peace deal in South Sudan, Ethiopia is "struggling" to meet an election timeline (I wonder how that will go in Tigray?), the AU has appointed an envoy to Somalia, tensions are continuing between Uganda and Rwanda, an opinion that Israel has moved away from a two state solution and into apartheid, millions of jobs in Kenya are at risk because of the climate crisis, German priests have defied the Vatican's homophobia, governments should redouble efforts to end violence against children and women, deadly bomb attack against girls' school in Afghanistan, COVID-19 disaster in India today and looming in Nepal, land rights activist killed in Thailand, brutal treatment of protesters in occupied East Jerusalem, how some rich governments are prolonging the pandemic .  . . , a land rights activist has been murdered in Thailand, misogyny against an MP in Germany, an assessment of the devastating impact of the climate crisis on bushfire risk, coral reefs remain at dire risk, recommendations for more effective ways of addressing youth crime,
  
  pandemic (nobody is safe until everyone is safe) in India (calls for a lockdown, vaccine makers can - unconscionably - charge whatever they want and victims are being dumped in rivers) & Vic (move to single QR app) & Tunisia ,  
  
  vaccine development - including for variants - security and rollout  ,  
  
  one million people in Madagascar are facing starvation, Ebola in Guinea/West Africa, bushfire risk and bushfires ,  
  
  
• Artemis, Baba Yaga, Pachamama and Cernunnos,
  help us connect to the wild places
  - show us all the beauty of all the life there,
  human, animal, plant or mineral,
  help all who touch these places,
  to truly know and care for them,
  for their own innate worth. 
  
  Brigid, Maeve and Aset,
  inspire and help all those who care for the bush or fight bushfires,
  let them fulfil their duties with passion and inspiration;
  and inspire and heal those tempted to do harm
  to such responsibility and caring
  that they can NOT commit such sacrilege,
  but may Ma’at bring swiftly to justice all who do make such sacrilege.
  
  Nu Kua, bringer of order to chaos,
  bring your ordered way to the wild places;
  let the rains fall and the winds blow when and where they are needed;
  Durga, protector against demons,
  set boundaries on any fires which may occur,
  and protect the wild places from the demon “bushfire”;
  Cerridwen, transform all harm and damage done into growth: death into rebirth.
  
  Gyhldeptis,
  we call on you to help synthesise all these threads,
  love, responsibility, inspiration, justice;
  ordered rain and wind, protective boundaries, transformation;
  help these many ways become one great whole,
  for the good of all the wild places, and all the wild life.
  throughout this coming bushfire season and beyond.

  Heal and inspire responsibility and justice;
