  the attempted insurrection / coup by domestic terrorists in the USA and consequences,  
  Kashmir's continuing experience of repression ,  
  the decade long disaster in Syria .
  
  
  
• genocides including of Uyghurs and Tibetans in Chinese controlled/occupied territory , continued repression in Uganda , Tigray , CAR , Northern Ireland , Nigeria , violence ,  
  
  
• a criticism of tech billionaires fundamentally flawed attitude to workers, and what that could lead to off-planet, Brazil has discovered the Norwegian model for rehabilitative jails, a gravely concerning study about the limits of relying on reforestation to address the climate crisis, a criticism of those who "have allowed themselves to be intimidated by Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch and their bullies, who in turn have been collaborators in the crime of the century", neo-nazis don't want to be investigated for being what they are, now that they've shifted the heartless climate-denialist ex-cop minister the national neolib "government risks progress on climate and Indigenous affairs", we might be nearing a (good) tipping point for climate action, super funds will vote against directors not acting on the climate crisis, ASEAN leaders have demanded an end to the killings in Burma, and there is very weak "sort of" agreement on that, but nothing on releasing political prisoners, Afghans who helped coalition forces are facing death or worse, China is trying to bully us into sacrificing our national interest and kow tow to their authoritarianism,
  
  pandemic (nobody is safe until everyone is safe) in Germany (curfew) & India (help is coming from Europe and the USA) & Australia (insistence by states that Feds step up and take on THEIR responsibility, failure to vaccinate people with disabilities as part of those who are vulnerable, telehealth will be extended, ) & WA (snap lockdown) ,   India is silencing social media criticism of its flawed pandemic response,
  
  vaccine development - including for variants - security and rollout  ,  
  
  Ebola in Guinea/West Africa, bushfire risk and bushfires ,  
  
  
• Artemis, Baba Yaga, Pachamama and Cernunnos,
  help us connect to the wild places
  - show us all the beauty of all the life there,
  human, animal, plant or mineral,
  help all who touch these places,
  to truly know and care for them,
  for their own innate worth. 
  
  Brigid, Maeve and Aset,
  inspire and help all those who care for the bush or fight bushfires,
  let them fulfil their duties with passion and inspiration;
  and inspire and heal those tempted to do harm
  to such responsibility and caring
  that they can NOT commit such sacrilege,
  but may Ma’at bring swiftly to justice all who do make such sacrilege.
  
  Nu Kua, bringer of order to chaos,
  bring your ordered way to the wild places;
  let the rains fall and the winds blow when and where they are needed;
  Durga, protector against demons,
  set boundaries on any fires which may occur,
  and protect the wild places from the demon “bushfire”;
  Cerridwen, transform all harm and damage done into growth: death into rebirth.
  
  Gyhldeptis,
  we call on you to help synthesise all these threads,
  love, responsibility, inspiration, justice;
  ordered rain and wind, protective boundaries, transformation;
  help these many ways become one great whole,
  for the good of all the wild places, and all the wild life.
  throughout this coming bushfire season and beyond.
