• a call to "stop training police like they’re joining the Military", migrant workers are particularly poorly treated in the gig economy, staggering revelations about the extent of bonuses to hundreds of public servants, in a 21^st Century version of their defeat in Viêt Nám, the USA has just abandoned the women of Afghanistan to the increasingly violent misogynistic Taliban, China is continuing its threats against Taiwan, France has - in contravention of international law - deported a key witness in a case in Chechnya, crackdown on LGBT people in Cameroon, Ukrainian women and children detained in Syria, Mexico proposes law restricting social media company operations, conflict in Ethiopia’s Tigray conflict poses serious humanitarian risks, new law extends Somalia president’s term, Australia should act on Indigenous deaths in custody, Burundian refugees in Tanzania are living in fear, Libya has released a notorious human trafficker, mass hunger in Mozambique, Somalia's leader has been the latest leader to attack term limits, Ugandans have criticised the oil pipeline deal, China is continuing its threats against Taiwan, the climate crisis will make India's monsoon even more devastating, the UN will belatedly increase protection of LGBTIQ+ refugees, illegal roads are enabling illegal logging in the Amazon, the problem of drink spiking, Australia's continuing failures on Indigenous deaths in custody, a kick in the guts to democracy in Thailand, growth of democracy in Samoa,
  
  pandemic (nobody is safe until everyone is safe) in EU-India & India ,  
  
  vaccine development - including for variants - security and rollout including in Australia (Scott has stopped opposing the sensible measures being advocated for) & Africa (developing plans to manufacture vaccines on that continent) & Serbia ,  
  
  floods in East Timor, Ebola in Guinea/West Africa, bushfire risk and bushfires ,  
  
  
• Artemis, Baba Yaga, Pachamama and Cernunnos,
  help us connect to the wild places
  - show us all the beauty of all the life there,
  human, animal, plant or mineral,
  help all who touch these places,
  to truly know and care for them,
  for their own innate worth. 
  
  Brigid, Maeve and Aset,
  inspire and help all those who care for the bush or fight bushfires,
  let them fulfil their duties with passion and inspiration;
  and inspire and heal those tempted to do harm
  to such responsibility and caring
  that they can NOT commit such sacrilege,
  but may Ma’at bring swiftly to justice all who do make such sacrilege.
  
  Nu Kua, bringer of order to chaos,
  bring your ordered way to the wild places;
  let the rains fall and the winds blow when and where they are needed;
  Durga, protector against demons,
  set boundaries on any fires which may occur,
  and protect the wild places from the demon “bushfire”;
  Cerridwen, transform all harm and damage done into growth: death into rebirth.
  
  Gyhldeptis,
  we call on you to help synthesise all these threads,
  love, responsibility, inspiration, justice;
  ordered rain and wind, protective boundaries, transformation;
  help these many ways become one great whole,
  for the good of all the wild places, and all the wild life.
  throughout this coming bushfire season and beyond.
