• coup in Burma by the genocidaires ,  
  repression in Hong Kong ,  
  repression in Thailand ,  
  the violent repression in Tigray and of Tigrayans ,
  the attempted insurrection / coup by domestic terrorists in the USA and consequences,  
  Kashmir's continuing experience of repression ,  
  the decade long disaster in Syria .
  
  
  
• genocides including of Uyghurs and Tibetans in Chinese controlled/occupied territory , continued repression in Uganda , Tigray , CAR , Nigeria , AfghanTalibanistan , violence in France ,  
  
  
• Indigenous culture has given one area a very low property crime rate, a Liberian human rights & war criminal has been jailed for over 20 years for offences committed in the 1990s, autonomous trucks are a step closer, Burma is at risk of a large scale civil war, "moral bankruptcy and cruelty in the [unconscionable] treatment of the Biloela Family" and the "nonsense" in the  "facile immigration policy debate", a hard liner has won Iran's elections - and a difficult position, the continuing crisis in Lebanon, natural geological sources of mercury in Greenland have caused major pollution, a proposal to light a sports stadium in rainbow colours for a match with a team from LGBT-phobic Hungary,
  
  pandemic (nobody is safe until everyone is safe) in India & Indonesia & Uganda (another lockdown) ,   a warning over the next possible pandemic - which is being brought closer by deforestation and environmental degradation, economic uncertainty has increased child marriages, Indonesia is so overwhelmed that even fully vaccinated health workers have died, the severe lingering effects of COVID,
  
  vaccine development - including for variants - security and rollout including in Taiwan (China's intransigence and malice over Taiwan "may" have stopped a vaccine deal) ,  
  
  Ebola in Guinea/West Africa, bushfire risk and bushfires ,  
  
  
• Artemis, Baba Yaga, Pachamama and Cernunnos,
  help us connect to the wild places
  - show us all the beauty of all the life there,
  human, animal, plant or mineral,
  help all who touch these places,
  to truly know and care for them,
  for their own innate worth. 
  
  Brigid, Maeve and Aset,
  inspire and help all those who care for the bush or fight bushfires,
  let them fulfil their duties with passion and inspiration;
  and inspire and heal those tempted to do harm
  to such responsibility and caring
  that they can NOT commit such sacrilege,
  but may Ma’at bring swiftly to justice all who do make such sacrilege.
  
  Nu Kua, bringer of order to chaos,
  bring your ordered way to the wild places;
  let the rains fall and the winds blow when and where they are needed;
  Durga, protector against demons,
  set boundaries on any fires which may occur,
  and protect the wild places from the demon “bushfire”;
  Cerridwen, transform all harm and damage done into growth: death into rebirth.
  
  Gyhldeptis,
  we call on you to help synthesise all these threads,
  love, responsibility, inspiration, justice;
  ordered rain and wind, protective boundaries, transformation;
  help these many ways become one great whole,
  for the good of all the wild places, and all the wild life.
  throughout this coming bushfire season and beyond.

  Brigid, Maeve, Aset and Ma’at,
  Heal and inspire responsibility and justice;
