• more mass arrests and oppression in Russia, inflation in Turkey, indefinite detention of Medevac detainees, our national neolib nitwits paralysis and denial on the climate crisis & ALP's paralysis and dithering on same, political crisis in Italy, more protests in Poland, legalisation of assisted dying in Portugal, need to manage online hooligans in social media, gang rape in Qld, plea to keep responsible lending laws, risk of homelessness for older women, continuing kerfuffle over tech giants not *****ing media companies, legal action by families of place crash victims, call to leave Hong Kong, influence of mental health problems on DV, impacts and non-impacts of remote learning, experimentation without consent by Google, calls for governments to pick up the pace of responses to the climate crisis, need to protect environment, major trump donor's financing of the rally assembly before the attempted coup, Pakistan's outrageous freeing of the murderers of a journalist, conspiracy fantasists slow realisation that their drivel "doesn't add up", weak donation laws - and the need for elections to be publicly funded,
  
  pandemic in Japan (consideration of 4 day working week) & China (WHO investigation) Australia-NZ travel bubble & Austria (breaches of lockdown) & Australia (internal borders, MPs into quarantine, state responses, panic buying in WA) & Spain & France , closing window opportunity for world to manage the pandemic, young people being left behind by economic recovery plans,
  
  vaccine development - including for variants - security and rollout including in Europe (possible blocking of vaccines to other nations) , vaccine diplomacy by China, manufacturing problems,
  
  bushfire risk and bushfires in
  
  
• Artemis, Baba Yaga, Pachamama and Cernunnos,
  help us connect to the wild places
  - show us all the beauty of all the life there,
  human, animal, plant or mineral,
  help all who touch these places,
  to truly know and care for them,
  for their own innate worth. 
  
  Brigid, Maeve and Aset,
  inspire and help all those who care for the bush or fight bushfires,
  let them fulfil their duties with passion and inspiration;
  and inspire and heal those tempted to do harm
  to such responsibility and caring
  that they can NOT commit such sacrilege,
  but may Ma’at bring swiftly to justice all who do make such sacrilege.
  
  Nu Kua, bringer of order to chaos,
  bring your ordered way to the wild places;
  let the rains fall and the winds blow when and where they are needed;
  Durga, protector against demons,
  set boundaries on any fires which may occur,
  and protect the wild places from the demon “bushfire”;
  Cerridwen, transform all harm and damage done into growth: death into rebirth.
  
  Gyhldeptis,
  we call on you to help synthesise all these threads,
  love, responsibility, inspiration, justice;
  ordered rain and wind, protective boundaries, transformation;
  help these many ways become one great whole,
  for the good of all the wild places, and all the wild life.
  throughout this coming bushfire season and beyond.
