India, Kashmir, and Pakistan

May the key leaders in India and Pakistan be satisfied with the military measures they have taken, thus feeling able to back away from escalation without fearing a loss of face, and graciously accept the other side's peace gestures.

May all others also be satisfied in the hearts and minds with the gestures, militaristic and peaceful, to date, and cease to urge or support escalation.

May Pakistan take real action against violent extremists, may India continue to always obey the Supreme Court's order to protect Kashmiris, and may a true and lasting solution to this region's many and interconnected problems be found ASAP.

So mote it be.
